Here we have a classic 20th century antique cactus lamp.
The species is Echinocactus grusonii ssp. plasticspinii

anyone know where to buy a lamp like this? I used to have a cactus lamp just like this. It was atouch lamp on a terra cotta looking pot- it fooled all my frineds an family. An old roomate begged me for it, and eventually he just took it- Im looking for a replacement.

I looked at Robert Dickson & lesley rendall but couldn’t find the cactus lamp. Could you give me another hint where I can buy this lamp?

It is an antique and they are not currently being manufactured, so you would need to keep an eye out for antique sales. I recommend setting up a google news alert under your google account settings, if you have a google account. That way google will tell you if this lamp ever comes up for sale again.
