Airplants for the Bay Area
I have finally gotten it all together and we now have a page for Airplants for the Bay Area .
Airplant Terrarium
It’s not a very complete page yet since I have lots of photos to take. It could take awhile to get the rest of the tillandsias photographed.
Tillandsia utriculata v. “Prengelii”

Blue Succulents
Sedeveria “Blue” may be S. “Blue Mist” or S. “Blue Giant” but I don’t know for sure, so we have named it S. “Blue” to cover all our bases. And pretty bases they are!

Dragon in the Garden
Why is it that Dragons like to hang out among the succulents so much? It’s a mystery.

San Francisco Succulents
I still go into San Francisco to see my dentist and what do I see but new Succulent bowls, mostly Echeveria, at the Embarcadero Center. They look very freshly planted, so we’ll see how well they’ve done next time I visit – in 6 months of course.
Nice succulents. I see Echeveria and Echeveria and more Echeveria. Maybe a Pachyveria too.

Emeryville Natives
Apparently the town next to Berkeley, Emeryville, is no longer part of California.
Hah, I’m just joking.
Here we see someone at the local mall who thinks that California native plants include spurges. They don’t!
And here we see that the entire garden is filled with non-natives – not a native to be seen. Shall we list them out?
Euphorbia from Europe, Senecio from South Africa, Chondropetalum from South Africa, Aeoniums from the Canary Islands, Sedums from Asia.
Actually, it’s a pretty nice drought-tolerant Mediterranean style garden, so I shouldn’t complain that they put out one or two silly native signs.
